F. Bady Sassin was born and raised right here in Dallas. He grew up with three brothers and four sisters in East Dallas, and worked during the summers with his father and brothers growing the family business started by his dad. After graduating from Jesuit College Preparatory School, he went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, and spent a year working toward a Masters degree in International Business before he applied, and was accepted, to Law School. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
During Law School, Bady served as a law extern for the Hon. Judge Thomas Brett on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. During his second year, he was elected class President, and was subsequently elected as Vice-President of the Board of Governors during his third year. He was also the honored recipient of the President's Award and School Service Award. After graduation, he moved back home to Dallas where he entered private practice as an Associate with the Dallas law firm of Joseph E. Ashmore, Jr. P.C.
After practicing in Corpus Christi, Texas for a large Plaintiff's firm, where he met his beautiful wife, Staci, Bady returned to his roots in Dallas where he established the solo practice of Sassin Law Firm in January, 2007. Bady focused his practice in business and commercial litigation and personal injury and tort law, including faulty products, and personal injuries caused by negligent acts. Among his proudest achievements was successfully representing the Sassin family business, started by his father, in a lawsuit involving a breach of contract claim against a Company in Indiana. He also represented over 600 residents of an East Texas town against numerous Fortune 500 Companies in a toxic-tort case that was ultimately settled in favor of the resident Plaintiffs.
Bady is admitted to practice in Texas, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Federal Bar Association.
When Bady isn't practicing law, he enjoys deep-sea fishing, golf, boating, biking, travel, and other outdoor pursuits.
